Font-o-rama! dramatically simplifies font selection. If you spend any time at all scrolling through font menus, testing different font styles, or trying to get just the right font size, then Font-o-rama! will save you time.
It’s a dialog box with a huge multi-column list area that’s big enough to display all your fonts at once. So you don’t have to scroll through a long font menu looking for “Garamond Ultra Italic.” You just click on it. Or type “Ga” to go directly to it.
Font-o-rama! makes common sizes and styles available as buttons. You don’t have to scroll through size and style menus looking for “Bold,” “Italic,” and “18 pt.” You just click on them. Or use the keyboard equivalents.
It’s designed to be small, fast, stable, and very, very useful.

How do I install it?
Copy the “Font-o-rama! ƒ” folder to your hard-drive.
Copy the file, “Font-o-rama! Extension” to the Extensions folder in your System Folder.
Restart your computer.
How do I install over an older version?
Drag the old “Font-o-rama! ƒ” folder and the old “Font-o-rama! Extension” to the trash.
Then follow the steps for installing, above.
How do I use it?
To use Font-o-rama! in your application, just hit the hot-key combination: control-command-f. Font-o-rama! will automatically start running, or come to the front if it’s already running.
Then, make your font choices in the Font-o-rama! window. It’s quick and easy, because all your options are available a single click away. Nothing is buried in menus.
Finally, hit the return key. Font-o-rama! changes the font of the current selection in whatever application you’re using.
Note: your application must be scriptable. Font-o-rama! is known to work with the following applications:

If you buy 25 or more copies, it’s only US$9 each.

If you’re interested in seeing a version of Font-o-rama! in another language, please contact us. We may already have the language you’re interested in.
How does it work? (Technical information.)
Font-o-rama! looks in the Scripts folder for a script with the same name as the application. If it doesn’t find one, it looks for a script whose name is the same as the application’s creator. If it doesn’t find one, it finally uses the Generic script.
Once it’s found the script to use, it loads it and executes the set_font() subroutine.
Why should I help The Henry Starr Co.?
The Henry Starr Co. has limited access to scriptable applications. We need scripters to write scripts that support their favorite applications. Write a script that extends Font-o-rama! to support the applications you use. Then send it to us so we can include it in future releases of Font-o-rama!
When you do, make sure that you fill in the description of the script in the Script Editor. That description will be displayed in the About Scripts dialog box. You can advertise anything you want.
If you choose to help extend Font-o-rama!, you will be realizing the full potential of Apple Events and AppleScript, and helping to improve the Macintosh for everybody.
